Exclusion cyber marine
Nothing on the cyber side. This is the marine counterpart of property 5401: an exclusion with no write-back.
Excludes cyber loss and damage, together with any loss or cost connected to data, across marine, cargo, energy, fine art, specie and yacht.
The exclusion taken on marine policies where the insurer will not affirm any cyber cover; its affirmative counterpart is 5403.
Like 5401, a wide exclusion that can leave holes where the cyber link is thin. The functional successor to CL380, more precise but broader in reach.
Issued November 2019 as part of the cyber clarity package, functionally replacing the old CL380 (2003) in the marine market.
